'The Drama Utsav Mumbai 2026' Set to Create a New Chapter in Indian Theatre

Mumbai is all set to host one of the biggest celebrations of Indian theatre. Organized by Ideas Entertainment, The Drama Utsav Mumbai 2026 will be India's first large-scale multilingual theatre festival, taking place from November 13 to 29, 2026, at St. Andrew's Auditorium.

Conceived by Paritosh Painter, the festival will extend beyond stage performances, featuring masterclasses, an inter-collegiate theatre conclave, and a grand awards night honoring legends of Indian theatre. Supported by celebrated names including Ashok Saraf, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, and Mithila Palkar, the festival is expected to become a landmark cultural event and play a significant role in establishing Mumbai as a vibrant hub for theatre and the performing arts.
