World Music Day 2026: Music Has Been My Constant Companion, Says Entrepreneur Gauravv Saxena

On the occasion of World Music Day 2026, entrepreneur and digital creator Gauravv Saxena opened up about his deep connection with music, describing it as an inseparable part of his personal and professional journey. From long drives and travel adventures to content creation and moments of self-reflection, music has remained a steady presence in his life.

Speaking about the role music plays in his daily routine, Gauravv said, "Music is my constant companion. Whether I’m traveling, editing content for my channel, or simply unwinding after a long day, it helps me find balance and stay grounded. It’s the soundtrack to my experiences and a powerful way to shift my perspective."

Known for his entrepreneurial ventures and engaging digital presence, Gauravv revealed that he is particularly drawn to music that carries emotional depth and meaningful storytelling.

"I have a deep appreciation for soul-stirring melodies and lyrics that carry emotional weight. While my taste is eclectic, I am especially drawn to music that tells a story or evokes a specific mood," he shared.

When asked about the songs that never fail to brighten his day, Gauravv was quick to mention one of India's most beloved voices. "Arijit Singh’s music almost always does the trick. His voice has a truly magical, soothing effect that can instantly turn my mood around."

His love for Bollywood music remains unwavering. According to him, the genre continues to resonate because of its emotional richness and timeless appeal.

"I am most drawn to soulful Bollywood tracks. There’s a unique depth in the storytelling and instrumentation in Indian film music that I find incredibly relatable and timeless," he said.

Music is not just something Gauravv listens to casually. It is an experience he actively pursues. Over the past two years, he has attended more than ten live concerts featuring some of the biggest names in the music industry.

"Bollywood music is my go-to choice for almost any occasion, whether I’m driving, relaxing, or creating content. In fact, music is such a huge part of my life that in the last two years alone, I’ve attended over 10 live music concerts, including performances by legends like Arijit Singh, A.R. Rahman, Diljit Dosanjh, and Sonu Nigam, among many others," he revealed.

Talking about his favourite Bollywood singer, Gauravv once again praised Arijit Singh for the emotional honesty he brings to every performance.

"Arijit Singh is undoubtedly my favorite. It’s the sheer vulnerability and magical quality in his voice that makes him stand out. He has a way of making every word feel deeply personal," he said.

Music has also helped him navigate some of life's most difficult moments. Reflecting on a song that holds special significance, Gauravv spoke candidly about a deeply personal chapter in his life.

"The song 'Man Pannu' holds a very specific and profound meaning for me. It perfectly captures a major chapter in my life, specifically my divorce, and deeply resonates with exactly what I went through during that time," he shared.
