'Pyramid of Unity' Steals the Spotlight at PGL's Fashion Runway Show

Sport, culture and fashion merged into one spectacular evening as the Pro Govinda League (PGL) hosted its maiden fashion show to launch the team jerseys for Season 4. Captains from all 16 participating teams walked the ramp flaunting their jerseys before coming together to form the striking 'Pyramid of Unity' - a tribute to the spirit of togetherness on the occasion of Independence Day.

The show was choreographed by fashion choreographer Wahbiz Mehta, with the captains bringing high energy to the runway. Franchise owners added to the spectacle in team-themed jackets designed by Rachit Ajmera. Every jersey carried distinct design elements inspired by the culture, local symbols and regional identity of the city it represents.

Speaking at the event, PGL Founder and President Purvesh Sarnaiak said, "Every pyramid stands for trust, collaboration and a shared goal. The 'Pyramid of Unity' captures this spirit perfectly and serves as a heartfelt tribute to Independence Day."

Season 4 of the league will feature 16 franchises and over 3,000 athletes, running from August 25 to 27, 2026, at the SVP Dome, NSCI, Worli, Mumbai. Cricketer Suryakumar Yadav serves as the league's brand ambassador, and all matches will stream live on JioHotstar.
