Tumm Se Tumm Tak Cast Opens Up on 400 Episodes, Off-Screen Bond and Memorable Journey

The team behind Tumm Se Tumm Tak, backed by Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah's Studio LSD, marked a big milestone recently as the series crossed 400 episodes. During a media interaction, the actors looked back at their journey together and spoke about how the chemistry they share on camera has grown into genuine friendship off it.

Vandana Pathak, who essays the role of Gayatri Maa, talked about how quickly the cast bonded despite initial nervousness. According to her, new team members usually take time to settle in, but this group gelled almost instantly - sharing meals, chatting between shots, and spending downtime together until it started feeling like an actual family.

She also looked back fondly on the show's early storyline centered around the characters Arya, Anu and Mansi, calling it one of the most meaningful stretches of the show for her, since it was during this arc that the on-screen family bond truly began to form.

Angad Hasija, seen as Yashvardhan, opened up about the challenge of stepping back into a character he'd portrayed close to 18 years ago in Bidaai. He explained that reviving the role after so long required serious preparation, including changes to his physical appearance, so he could stay true to how audiences remembered the character.

He also touched on the pressure of joining a show with an already-established fan base and emotionally invested viewers. However, he credited the cast's welcoming attitude for easing that transition, saying he never once felt like an outsider thanks to how quickly the team embraced him.

Dolly Chawala, who plays Meera, admitted she was initially nervous about working alongside Sharad Kelkar — so much so that just hearing his voice used to unsettle her. That impression didn't last long, though, as she found him to be friendly and easy to work with once they actually began interacting.

She also pointed out how different the cast is off-camera compared to their on-screen personas, describing their real dynamic as warm, easygoing and full of laughter once filming wraps for the day.

Manraj Singh Sharma, who portrays Harshvardhan, called his time on the show a wonderful experience, noting that every cast member's distinct personality adds a unique flavor to the group dynamic - something he feels has made the audience's love for the show even more rewarding.

Nandani Tiwari, who plays Mansi, described the lighthearted vibe on set, saying the cast eats, gossips, and jokes around together so much that they've essentially started living out the show's spirit even off-camera. She expressed hope that the series runs for a long time so these shared moments can continue.

When the conversation turned to who's the funniest on set, the cast unanimously pointed to Nasirr Khan, laughing about his witty one-liners and comic timing. They also teased that one of the show's senior actresses has a surprisingly mischievous streak that often catches the younger cast members off guard.
