Mumbai - After six weeks of alliances, fallouts and jailhouse drama, social media influencer Shreya Kalra has walked away as the winner of Lock Upp 2: Sach Ya Sazaa, lifting the trophy and pocketing the season's ₹1 crore cash prize.

Television actress Shivangi Joshi finished as the first runner-up in a contest that came down to the wire, with the two women edging out a strong field that included veteran actors Ram Kapoor and Shilpa Shinde, and content creator Yogesh Rawat.

How the Finale Played Out

The grand finale saw contestants put through one last round of tasks before facing questions from a media panel and a celebrity jury. Eliminations followed in quick succession - Ram Kapoor exited first, followed by Shilpa Shinde and then Yogesh Rawat - narrowing the race down to a straight face-off between Kalra and Joshi.

The final call was left to a mix of former contestants, the jury, and the show's "jailers," filmmaker Farah Khan and actor Riteish Deshmukh. When Kalra's name was announced as the winner, she reportedly got emotional and shared a hug with Shinde before accepting the trophy from Deshmukh.

Who Is Shreya Kalra?

Kalra built her early following on TikTok, pivoting to Instagram and YouTube after the app's ban in India. Born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and an MBA graduate, she has spent years working across dance, lifestyle and entertainment content. Her television debut came as a wildcard on MTV Roadies Revolution in 2020, and she has since hosted digital shows, run a podcast, and featured in a handful of OTT projects.

A Season Built on Controversy

Kalra was rarely out of the headlines during her run on the show. She clashed repeatedly with fellow contestants - including Joshi, Yogesh Rawat and actor Harshad Chopda - and found herself at the centre of one of the season's biggest storms after disclosing a personal detail about a housemate early on, a moment that turned much of the house against her.

Her equation with Shinde was no less combustible, with the two trading sharp words over trust and intentions inside the jail. Despite the backlash, Kalra's willingness to speak her mind - and her calculated gameplay in the show's tasks - kept her firmly in contention, leading many viewers to dub the season "The Shreya Kalra Show."

With the win, Kalra becomes the latest influencer-turned-reality star to convert online popularity into a primetime title, closing out a season that leaned heavily on conflict, confessions and last-minute twists to keep audiences hooked.
