Krishna Gautam Opens Up About Ram Gopal Varma's Unusual Directing Style on Film Set

Actress Krishna Gautam is carving out a dual identity for herself in both the film and music industries. She recently demonstrated her range by playing a possessed girl - a demanding role - in Ram Gopal Varma's horror movie 12 O'Clock. Now she's opened up about her time on set, giving fans a rare look into the director's distinctive approach to filmmaking.

Krishna shared that Varma maintained a calm, courteous, and patient demeanor throughout the shoot. Rather than pushing an actor who was struggling to nail a scene on a given day, he preferred to push the shoot to a later date, giving them the space and time to prepare properly. What stood out most to Krishna, however, was one of his signature techniques: he would act out the dialogues himself, film the performance, and then play it back for the actors. This gave the cast a clearer sense of the emotional tone, expressions, and vision he had for each scene.

Beyond her acting career, Krishna is also building momentum with her music venture, the XYZ Music channel. Three of the channel's songs have already crossed a million views each, while tracks "O Janeja" and "Me & You" have each gone past the two-million mark. Between her on-screen work and her growing music portfolio, Krishna Gautam is steadily establishing herself as a multifaceted creative talent.
