Paresh Rawal Calls Physiotherapy a Strong Companion for an Active Life
Paresh Rawal inaugurates SVKM's new physiotherapy clinic with NMIMS, calling for a shift toward preventive care and long-term mobility over reactive treatment.
Mumbai: Physiotherapy has long carried the image of a post-injury necessity - something people turn to only after a fall, surgery, or illness. Actor and Padma Shri recipient Paresh Rawal wants that perception to change.
Speaking at the launch of the new SVKM Physiotherapy Clinic, set up by SVKM in partnership with the NMIMS School of Physiotherapy, Rawal made a case for viewing physiotherapy as a tool for everyday wellness rather than a last resort. "Physiotherapy isn't just about recovery and rehabilitation," he said. "It plays an equally important role in prevention, in keeping people mobile, and in helping them live active, independent lives."
