25 Years On, K. D. Jain School Alumni Reunite in Kishangarh for Emotional 2026 Reunion

A dream nurtured for years by a former student came true on June 14, 2026, as more than 100 alumni and 15-plus teachers of K. D. Jain School gathered for an emotional reunion, marking the school’s first such large-scale event in its history.

The reunion, named K. D. Jain Reunion 2026, was conceived years ago by Jaipur-based alumnus K.K. Salvi, who had long wished to bring former students and teachers back to the campus where their journeys began. An earlier attempt seven or eight years ago had not materialised, but this time Salvi resolved to see it through. He first approached Bablu Ji, and after discussions with Akhil Agarwal and Deepak Modani, a core organising team was formed.

The core team — including Ajay Gangwal, Samkit Pahadia, Manish Rathi, Rohit Oswal, Pradeep Sharma, Ankush Arora, Ashish Kabra, Himanshu Godha, Sumit Agarwal, Vivek Dargad, Yogesh Bhutda, Lalit Kamdar and Girish Kumawat, among others — worked tirelessly for 15 days, reaching out to alumni and finalising the event’s framework. Their efforts brought together nearly 150 former students, with several travelling from across Rajasthan and from other parts of the country and abroad.

A host of former teachers were also invited, including Deepak Kumawat, Dinesh Vijayvargiya, G.K. Varshneya, Mahavir Prasad Ajmera, M.P. Vasani, Pawan Kumar Jain, Shivjiram Ji, Kishanlal Tanwar, Gulab Chand Sharma, Manju Dayma, Manju Rani Jain, Sushila Goyal, Ramkishan Saini, Vibha Mishra and Sharda Saini. The presence of former staff member Teji Ji also brought back old memories for many attendees.

The day began with a dhol procession as alumni entered the school campus, many returning after decades, with visible emotion and nostalgia. Old classrooms were recreated to reflect the school’s earlier days, and Deepak Kumawat took attendance once again, sharing life lessons and words of encouragement with his former students, who honoured him with flowers and blessings.

Through the day, alumni toured the campus and reminisced with old friends. The evening programme featured an introduction session where attendees shared their personal and professional journeys since leaving school, followed by a lamp-lighting ceremony marking the formal start of proceedings.

Teachers were honoured with bouquets, garlands, mementos and gifts, and were seated on stage for a special felicitation. They shared memories of the school’s earlier years, recalling what many described as its golden days — moments that left both teachers and students visibly moved.

Students were also presented with stoles and mementos, followed by a community meal during which alumni hosted their former teachers. The night session included a ramp walk, cultural performances, games, music and dance, with photographs and reminiscing continuing late into the night.

One of the most emotional moments came when students and core team members signed each other’s commemorative T-shirts, a gesture organisers described as a symbol of lasting friendship. The event was anchored by Samkit Pahadia and K.K. Salvi, whose hosting kept the programme engaging throughout.

The organising committee thanked all teachers, students, volunteers and guests at the conclusion of the event. Attendees said the gathering was more than a reunion — it was an opportunity to relive some of the most cherished moments of their lives.
