Shubhangi Atre: "My Daughter Makes Sure I Never Feel Alone"
Actress Shubhangi Atre opens up about loneliness, social media, and why her daughter Ashi's emotional support makes her feel she's never truly alone.
In today's fast-moving world, people are more connected through technology than ever before. Yet, many still struggle to find someone they can truly talk to. Actress Shubhangi Atre who has been a part of shows like Do Hanson Ka Jodaa, Havan, Chidiya Ghar, and Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain! believes that while conversations have become shorter, genuine emotional connections have become even more important.
Sharing what makes her feel emotionally supported, she says, "I feel fortunate because I have a few people who genuinely ask me, 'How are you?' and actually wait to hear the answer. They don't ask just to be polite. They truly listen, and sometimes, being heard is more comforting than getting advice."
For Shubhangi, loneliness is not about how many people are around you. It is about whether you have someone with whom you can speak openly. She says, "I believe loneliness comes more from the lack of meaningful conversations than the lack of relationships. You can be surrounded by people and still feel unheard. One honest conversation where you can truly be yourself is far more valuable than having many people around you."
