Bollywood's Favourites Bring Bappa Home: Arjun Bijlani, Delnaaz Irani, Aalisha Panwar and Others Celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with Family and Faith

Mumbai's television and film fraternity welcomed Ganpati Bappa into their homes this Ganesh Chaturthi with the same devotion and festive spirit that grips the city every year. Among those who threw open their doors to the beloved deity were actors Arjun Bijlani, Delnaaz Irani and Aalisha Panwar, along with Aditya Khurana and Hoonur Talent Head Mohammed Nagaman Lateef - each finding their own meaning in the celebration, whether it was nostalgia, gratitude or simply a pause from routine life.

Arjun Bijlani, currently seen in the Netflix series Chumbak, calls Ganesh Chaturthi a festival woven into his childhood. The actor says the ritual of bringing Bappa home has stayed constant through the years, no matter how demanding his work schedule gets. "Bappa has been a part of my life since childhood, and every year, bringing him home feels like a beautiful reminder to slow down, spend time with family and be grateful," he shared, adding that the aarti, the prayers and the shared meals are what make the days memorable for him.

Beyond the rituals, Arjun believes the festival leaves behind a quieter, more lasting gift - perspective. "Bappa teaches us to remain patient, positive and humble. Life will always have challenges, but having faith gives you the strength to face them," he said, describing a distinct sense of calm that settles over the house once Bappa arrives.

Delnaaz Irani, his co-star from Chumbak, echoed a similar sentiment of gratitude. For her, the festival is less about grandeur and more about the emotion it stirs up at home. "Whenever Bappa comes home, there is a beautiful energy in the house. It is a time when you pause, pray and feel grateful for everything you have," she said, adding that the celebration's real charm lies in how it draws people closer together.

Delnaaz was quick to point out that decor and festivity, while lovely, aren't what she holds onto. "What matters most to me is the feeling with which we welcome Bappa. I always pray for peace, good health and happiness for my loved ones," she said.

Actress Aalisha Panwar marked the occasion with equal enthusiasm, describing Bappa's arrival as an emotional reset. She sees the festival as an invitation to trust in life's timing and hope for better days ahead. "There is so much happiness and warmth around this festival, and I feel it is the perfect time to pray for new beginnings and good things ahead," she said, adding that welcoming Bappa "with a pure heart" naturally invites positivity into one's life.

For Aalisha, the festival also offers something increasingly rare - a genuine pause. "I think we all need moments where we can just stop, be thankful and ask for blessings. Ganesh Chaturthi gives us that opportunity," she said, adding that her prayer this year was for Bappa to clear obstacles and keep her family surrounded by love.

Meanwhile, actor Aditya Khurana - currently seen in Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain - celebrated alongside Hoonur Talent Head Mohammed Nagaman Lateef, the two coming together for prayers and blessings. Speaking jointly, they described the festival as a shared moment of reflection. "Ganpati Bappa is all about positivity, faith and removing obstacles. Welcoming Bappa together makes the celebration even more special because it is a time to come together, pray and be grateful," they said, hoping the festival brings everyone happiness, good health and the strength to take on whatever comes next.
