'The Alliance' Set to Premiere on Prime Video on June 26, Marking Kunal Kemmu's Debut as Reality Show Host

Prime Video is gearing up to launch its first daily reality show, The Alliance, on June 26, bringing a fresh mix of strategy, trust, betrayal and shifting loyalties to Indian streaming audiences. The series will also mark a global first for the platform, as it becomes Prime Video's debut daily show worldwide, with new episodes dropping every day at 12 PM.

The show will see actor Kunal Kemmu step into the role of host for the first time in his career, taking charge of what promises to be one of the more unpredictable reality formats to hit Indian screens this year.

Spread across 42 episodes over a six-week run, the show kicks off with 16 contestants divided into alliances. As the competition progresses, those partnerships are expected to be tested repeatedly, with contestants forced to recalibrate who they trust as the stakes rise. The format is built around the idea that no alliance is permanent, and every choice contestants make could tip the game in their favour or work against them.

The Alliance is based on a Dutch reality format originally created by Talpa Studios, which has found international acclaim. The Indian version has been produced by Banijay Asia.

With its mix of high-stakes challenges, sudden twists and the psychological tug-of-war between contestants, the show is positioned as a daily watch rather than a weekly one, aiming to keep audiences returning every day rather than waiting out a longer gap between episodes. When it premieres on June 26, the show will be available to viewers in India as well as in over 240 countries and territories where Prime Video operates.
