Nagabandham Team Launches Ananta Padmanabha Swamy Rath Yatra Ahead of July 3 Release
The Nagabandham team launched an Ananta Padmanabha Swamy Rath Yatra in Hyderabad, blending cultural heritage with film promotion ahead of the July 3 pan-India release.
The team behind pan-India fantasy film Nagabandham kicked off a Rath Yatra dedicated to Lord Ananta Padmanabha Swamy in Hyderabad on Tuesday, blending film promotion with a larger effort to spotlight India’s religious and cultural traditions.
The procession began with the ceremonial unveiling of a deity idol and drew a sizeable crowd of devotees and film enthusiasts despite heavy rainfall - a turnout the team called unexpected and heartening.
Director Abhishek Nama was clear that the campaign was intended to go beyond conventional film marketing. “This is not merely a film promotion; it is an attempt to reconnect people with our culture, traditions, and spiritual roots,” he said at the launch.
