'Dhamaal 4' Box Office Day 2: Ajay Devgn-Backed Comedy Sees Massive Jump, Crosses ₹38 Crore in Two Days

Indra Kumar's comedy franchise entry Dhamaal 4 is off to a flying start at the box office, riding a wave of positive audience reception since its release. The film opened to ₹15.50 crore net on Day 1 and followed it up with a strong 50% jump on Day 2, collecting ₹23.31 crore net. The two-day India net total now stands at ₹38.81 crore, placing the film among the weekend's top-performing family entertainers.

The Dhamaal series has long been associated with slapstick comedy, an ensemble of seasoned comic actors, and light-hearted family entertainment, and this fourth installment appears to be following the same winning formula. Audiences have particularly responded well to the film's emotional climax, with word of mouth turning increasingly favourable as the weekend progressed - a factor trade watchers say contributed directly to the sharp rise in Saturday's numbers.

Occupancy has reportedly been healthy not just in metro multiplexes but also in single screens across smaller towns, with the film pulling in large family audiences over the weekend. Industry analysts now expect the momentum to carry into Sunday, potentially pushing the opening weekend total past early estimates.

Dhamaal 4 has been presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with Devgn Films, and is jointly produced by T-Series Films, Maruti International, and Panorama Studios. The film is helmed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit, and Kumar Mangat Pathak. It is currently running in theatres across the country.
