Renowned Freestyle Footballer Jamie Knight Returns to Inspire Students at Podar International Schools in Maharashtra and Gujarat

New Delhi [India], November 6: The students of Podar International School were thrilled to once again welcome world-renowned freestyle footballer Jamie Knight, ranked among the world’s top ten freestyle footballers and a multiple Guinness World Record holder.

Now on his eighth visit to India, Jamie is conducting an exclusive workshop in Podar International Schools Gangapur, Ojhar, Deolali, Pathardi, Sangamaner, Igatpuri, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Veraval and Amreli as part of Podar Education Network’s sports excellence initiative. The session aimed to inspire students through creativity, focus, and passion in sport.

Jamie is celebrated globally for his extraordinary control of the football and collaborations with major international brands. He has performed as the official global mascot for UEFA EURO 2020 and at the UEFA Champions League Finals in 2017 and 2018, earning recognition from football legends worldwide. Students were left mesmerized by his gravity-defying tricks and impeccable precision.

Speaking about his experience, Jamie Knight said,“It’s always a joy to be back in India and to see how the students’ confidence, skill, and creativity have grown over the years. The enthusiasm at Podar International schools is unmatched, and I’m constantly inspired by their energy and talent.”

Mr. Harsh Podar, Director of Podar Education Network, shared, “We’ve been fortunate to host Jamie Knight multiple times, and each visit leaves a lasting impression on our students. His workshops don’t just teach football — they nurture discipline, focus, and perseverance. At Podar, we believe that such experiences inspire students to dream bigger and learn beyond textbooks.”

Freestyle football, Jamie believes, builds both physical and mental strength while promoting a growth mindset — ideals that align closely with Podar Education Network’s commitment to holistic education.

With its 99-year legacy, Podar Education Network continues to bring world-class opportunities to its students across India, nurturing well-rounded, globally minded individuals through excellence in academics, sports, and the arts.
