Actor Suniel Shetty Says: "I Have a Deep Connection with Patriotism and the Uniform"
Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty promotes his new historical film Kesari Veer in Jaipur, highlighting its patriotic theme based on the 14th-century Somnath temple invasion. The film showcases untold stories of Gujarat's brave warriors.
Renowned Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, during the promotion of his recently released historical film "Kesari Veer", interacted with the media in Jaipur. Speaking passionately, Shetty shared that the film is based on the 14th-century invasion of the Somnath temple and portrays the bravery of the warriors from Gujarat who sacrificed their lives to protect the temple.
The film stars Suniel Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi, and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles, with Oberoi playing a negative character. Speaking at a press conference held at a cinema hall in Jaipur, Shetty emphasized,
"We often talk about our history, but we were never truly taught it. We learned extensively about the British and the Mughals, but the stories of our brave warriors who laid down their lives for the nation are rarely discussed. Kesari Veer not only showcases the courage of these fighters, but also highlights how the entire village—including men and women—came together to defend their land. Working on such stories evokes a unique sense of patriotism."
Shetty added,
“I have a special bond with the uniform and with patriotism. Every time I hear stories like these, a different kind of energy awakens within me. I believe this film will make audiences feel that same spirit. When we think of Gujarat, we often focus on its business culture and family-oriented values, but the tales of its brave warriors often remain unheard. Kesari Veer is our attempt to bring these unsung heroes into the limelight.”
